Orca Coherence · Facilitated KPI review

Before you commit,
check what adds up.

Different sites can report the same KPI and mean different things. Orca Coherence helps you check definitions, roll-ups and targets before they become a group commitment.

For COOs, CFOs and operations leaders. Delivered through Cognitive Industrial.

A familiar disagreement

The same metric.
A different meaning.

Before comparing performance or committing to a target, make sure the underlying definitions and arithmetic hold.

Illustrative example · fictional data

Site A / On-time delivery96%

Measured against the requested delivery date.

Site B / On-time delivery96%

Measured against the confirmed delivery date.

The question to resolve

Can these figures be compared or rolled into one group KPI?

Agree the definition and consolidation rule before presenting a group result.

The starting offer

One decision.
One bounded review.

Start with an upcoming operating-plan, S&OP or investment decision. Agree one reporting period and the KPIs that matter to it.

01

You bring the pack

Existing spreadsheets or exports, KPI definitions, targets and an owner who can explain how the figures are used.

02

We make the rules explicit

Compare definitions and scope, inspect source mappings and test roll-ups against declared rules. Record assumptions and unresolved questions.

03

You get a decision pack

A definition and owner map, cited exceptions, coherence checks and a list of what needs confirming before the decision.

Scope before software

Buy a useful review.
Then decide what comes next.

We agree a fixed fee after a fit discussion, based on the decision, pack size and review effort.

Orca Coherence is working software used in a facilitated review. It works with existing exports, so the first engagement does not require a source-system integration.

If the same decision recurs, a later review can revisit the agreed rules and new evidence. That is a separate scope, agreed when there is a reason to continue.

Checks depend on the inputs and rules people confirm. Coherence does not prove causality, forecast results or make the management decision for you.

Is this a fit?

Start where disagreement
has a deadline.

When is a review useful?

When several sites or functions contribute to a live decision and there are open questions about definitions, targets, weighting or ownership. A named sponsor and a decision date give the work a clear purpose.

Is this another dashboard or an ERP project?

The review starts with the pack you already use. It checks the meaning and consistency of the evidence behind a decision. It does not replace your reporting, planning or source systems.

Can we try it with a small or redacted pack?

Yes. Agree a bounded sample and what information must be preserved so the checks remain meaningful. Data handling and access are settled before the review begins.

What is the product’s current stage?

Working software, offered through facilitated reviews. Customer outcomes and repeat demand are still being validated. Illustrations and demonstrations are labelled; they are not customer success claims.

Who delivers it?

Reviews are delivered through Cognitive Industrial. You agree the decision, sponsor, evidence, outputs and fee before delivery starts.
